Middle Earth Trail Club is a non-profit group of Lord of the Rings fans who are dedicated to proving that Middle Earth is the most beautiful place on the planet. We provide guided hiking tours across New Zealand, and will take you to some of Lord of the Rings’ most impressive, beautiful and memorable locations. Hobbiton/The Shire, Mordor and Rivendell are our top “eye-grabbers” and never fail to impress. Whether you are a raving fan of Lord of the Rings, or simply a world traveler, we will make sure that your time in Mordor is memorable, and amazing! Also, don’t forget that ‘one does not simply walk into Mordor’…. so expect some running!
If you haven’t heard of Lord of the Rings, do not fear! Although we are sorry for you, we have a way to fix it! Below is a list of each book, and a link to amazon to purchase them. We realize there are movies also, however, we suggest starting with the books. You are free to do them in any order you like.
